Our online forklift certification course covers the essential classroom components mandated by OSHA for the most commonly used forklift, CLASS 4 INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE, commonly called a propane sit-down forklift.

Forklift certification is a legal requirement for anyone operating a forklift in the United States. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) mandates that all forklift operators must complete a comprehensive training program that includes both written and practical driving tests. This certification is valid for a period of 3 years, after which operators must undergo recertification to ensure they maintain the necessary skills and knowledge to operate a forklift safely.
The forklift certification training covers a wide range of topics, including the proper inspection and maintenance of the forklift, safe operating procedures, and the recognition and avoidance of workplace hazards. Operators must demonstrate their ability to safely maneuver the forklift, load and unload materials, and navigate various work environments.

Our comprehensive online training program for Class 4 Forklifts includes all the materials needed to become OSHA certified. The program features 35 minutes of video learning with a corresponding workbook, a written test to assess knowledge, and a certificate of completion that can be provided to your supervisor.
Additionally, we will provide you with a practical driving test form to give to your supervisor to demonstrate your ability to safely operate a class 4 forklift. Safety checklists are also included to ensure you follow proper protocols.
This fully online training is convenient and flexible, allowing you to learn at your own pace and on your own schedule. Upon successful completion of written and driving test, your OSHA mandated certification will be valid for 3 years.

Our training covers general forklift fundamentals as well as specific training for Class 4 forklifts - internal combustion engine trucks (solid/cushion tires) commonly called sit down propane forklifts.
OSHA's Powered Industrial Truck standard (29 CFR 1910.178) mandates that all forklift operators receive comprehensive training on the safe operation of the specific type of forklift they will be using. This training must include both formal instruction (e.g. lectures, videos, etc.) and hands-on evaluation of the operator's skills. Forklift operator certification is valid for 3 years, after which retraining is required.

This ensures operators not only understand forklift fundamentals but can also demonstrate their ability to maneuver the equipment proficiently and in compliance with OSHA standards.

If you're located in Southern California, we can provide the practical, hands-on training you need to become a certified forklift operator either at your work or at our partner facility in Santa Ana. However, if you're based elsewhere, your employer is responsible for ensuring you receive the required OSHA-approved training.

Module 1: Forklift fundamentals Training: 20 mins
In this module we will cover all the basics of forklift certification fundamentals and operation. This includes: OSHA Requirements, Classes and Types, Safe Driving Techniques, Load Handling, and Workplace Hazards and Safety.
Module 2: Class 4 sit down propane forklift training: 15 mins
Class 4 training covers the safe operation of the sit down propane forklift, including pre-operational inspections, controls and handling, and propane maintenance. Upon completion, participants will be prepared to take the final written test. A passing score of 80% or higher is necessary for completion. You may take the test as many times until you pass.
